THE TEAM
Tara and Dani's career trajectories have followed a strikingly similar path. They started their careers in professional sports and sports media, and later worked for several years in parenting media. Through this work, they learned the grittiness and perseverance it takes to thrive in a male-dominated field. They saw (and personally experienced) the struggles working parents face each day, and how having to choose between career and family causes millions of women to suffer an astronomical wage gap over the course of their careers. They've seen economies suffer because of unfair wages and limited income potential. Several years ago, both followed their passion toward equity and access for all, and began working together to close wage gaps and foster access and opportunity for underrepresented groups. Through this work, they met countless well-intentioned employers who acknowledged their role in positive change, but lacked the steps and strategies to achieve their goals. Tara and Dani developed an effective partnership based on collaboration. They have served as contributing writers for Seattle Business Magazine, Puget Sound Business Journal and ParentMap, and have been invited speakers at events and conferences throughout the country. Using the strength of their differences, they offer an array of knowledge, skills and problem-solving methods, which help TADA partners accomplish their objectives. A great workplace and partnership can be magical.
